Why Madagascar - Destination Guide

Madagascar: An Island Continent

The fourth-largest island on Earth split from Africa 180 million years ago - and evolved into the most singular destination your clients will ever see.

The Story

90% of It Exists Nowhere Else

112 lemur species found nowhere else. Over 300 bird species - more than 100 endemic. 11,000+ endemic plants. 167 protected areas and 27 national parks, from razor-limestone Tsingy to primary rainforest and 3,000+ miles of pristine coastline.

And the people: 18 tribes weaving African and Asian cultures into something found only here. Madagascar is not a beach destination with wildlife attached - it is the eighth continent, and it rewards the travelers who reach it.
